Grace Sofia

Today I did my first official baby photo shoot for my friend Lina of her beautiful 3 month old daughter, Grace. I decided to photograph her in the comfort of her own home, and I was lucky to have caught her right after naptime because she was such a happy little baby for the entire shoot. I was so excited about these pictures that I just had to get them downloaded as soon as I got home. I hope you like them Lina and Ryan!

Fun In the Sun!

Guess what folks! I have some good news for all you bloggers out there! I have my own computer now! That means I'll be able to write a lot more! Woo Hoo! So this is my official first blog on the new mac (loving it by the way).

I've had many requests to see some pics from my vacation...and not just pictures of the wedding. So I thought I'd start with our first day there.



We woke up early and grabbed our boogie boards and headed to the beach!


Aaron tried some surfing, but the waves just weren't big enough to do it well.


Mike took a really creative picture of our balcony.

Aaron and Kveta!

Aaron and Kveta were not only SO much fun to photograph, but they're two of the most beautiful people I know, and I got to take their pictures in the most beautiful beach EVER, so needless to say, I am so excited about these shots. Aaron and Kveta were intimate and fun, artistic and serious, wonderfully affectionate and hopelessly in love with each other. I love them dearly, and they couldn't be a better match.

My two favorite baby boys!

I got home last night from our many travels across Canada, and I was so excited to be home with Kemper!! And I was equally pumped to have Allison come down and hang out for the night. Our friends Marcy and Jeremy so generously helped us out by house sitting, and I loved having them here when we came home. They have the most beautiful little baby boy, Connor, and we very much enjoyed watching Kemper and Conner play. So much that I grabbed my camera and started shooting.





Conner just giggled and giggled when Kemper licked him!




He got brave and started reaching for Kemper.




Hopefully Kemper will be as gentle with our kids!

A Glimpse into a Memorable Day

I had the privilege to take pictures at Dawn and Bill's wedding the other week, and I thought I'd post some pics for all of you to see! I went into the day not knowing anyone but Ashley and Ryan, but I left feeling like family. It truly was one of the most memorable weddings I've shot.

A New Addition!

Say hello to Kemper Shipman!!! He's my Christmas gift from Mike, and he is the most wonderful puppy ever! I was SOO surprised when this little ball of fur was put onto my lap last night, and I instantly fell in love!!!

We named him Kemper because Mike has always loved that name, but our family and friends have made so much fun of it that we decided to give our new baby puppy the name instead. And it suits him very well. Mike is SO adorable with him. I'm pretty sure Kemper is going to be daddy's little boy because he runs to Mike whenever he comes in the room!

You'll all have to come down and cuddle with him yourself, and you'll see how wonderful he is!

Baby Boy!

I took engagement pictures of Larry and Andrea back in October, before John and Amy's wedding, and I got so caught up in editing their (John and Amy) pictures that I totally forgot to do Larry and Andrea's!!!! AHHH!!! I publicly apologize for that guys, and will get the CD of all the pictures to you ASAP. I'm so pleased with the way they turned out, and I CANNOT WAIT to take their wedding pics in a couple of months! I love you guys, and I hope you enjoy!

A Perfect Day for the Perfect Pair!

Amy and John are two of my most favorite people in the whole wide world, and I am so lucky to have captured some very cool moments of their big day. So I'm devoting this blog to them, and wanted to share some of my favorite shots. It was a PERFECT DAY for a wedding, and blessed to have been a part of the day. I love you, John and Amy! Enjoy!
